    What’s involved?

You’ll need the expertise to maintain a safe, cost-effective, high-quality and environmentally responsible approach across the projects you’re responsible for. Ideally you’ll have membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status or be educated to degree level. However, what’s really important is that you’re experienced and will thrive within an ambitious team.

You’ll monitor design and specialist consultants and contractors, providing project management advice on all construction, including testing and commissioning, and site supervision. You’ll also audit contractors for safety, environment and quality of design, construction and testing. You’ll also make sure that all your projects follow in-house standards and relevant legislation.

You must also be able to use relevant quantified and qualitative risk assessment and HAZOP analysis techniques and procedures.

We’re looking for motivation and a natural flair for dealing with people at all levels, plus relevant experience in engineering, ideally in construction and design across multiple disciplines. You must also have an awareness of construction design and management, risk assessment and auditing internal and external competency, plus an AA CITB CSCS card.
